My third-ever finished crochet project has made its way to its intended target.
Success.
Kate's "Year of Finishing What She's Started" is off to a swimming start.
In other news, I can't hear this song without thinking that she's singing "They're vacuuming the dance floor."
When you're done with the dance floor, can you come do my kitchen? I'll play some kicky music for you if that'll help... But don't wear your hoochie heels, they'll scuff up the linoleum.
I love mis-hearing lyrics.

Word's can describe how much a detest that song. But I secretly love it now as all I can hear too is 'They're vacuuming the dance floor.'
I think we have ourselves a new dance move to try out next time we are out dancing. (You know how much we love our dancing and we go ALL the time). We'll request this song, vacuum the dance floor, and then get our fake umbrellas out for it's raining men.
I have in fact really and truly mailed out your awesome sock crafted friend, which I will not tell you anything about other than it's my second favourite (the smoking one-eyed rabbit is going to be a tough one to usurp).
This makes me happy, as I am known from time to time to forget to mail things to people.
I keep checking my mailbox with anticipation! Nothing yeeeEEEeet!
Amber - I just bought the yarn for your toque. I hope I got the eggplant-magenta-ness of it correct. Consider yourself lucky - I do believe you'll be getting the last of the free toques! (Unless I'm giving for some sort of birthday type gift. Or my mom asks for one.)
