There's only OOooone tiny problem though:
...the colour is terrible! More terrible than I'd initially thought.
It somehow has the ability to make the wearer look like a zombie. And I don't just mean in the light of my parents' bathroom - as photographed above. That lighting actually helps the skin tone, when paired with this toque... Zombie neutralizing lighting...
Where was I? Oh yes.
But I've still worn it - I wore it when I headed out to my aerobics class yesterday and, get this, I actually got compliments on it from my sister-in-law and her friend! (I think it was more for the pattern - its redeeming quality - than for the colour, but still!)
But you know what though? I like it. Because I made it, and I FINISHED IT, and it turned out the way it was supposed to.
More of these will definitely be made.

You should make a brainy grey one with little red flecks... or even long red strings hanging from it!
