March: In like a lion, out like a lamb.
So long, February. Can't say it's been a slice, but I'm better for having known you. I'll miss your Olympic Games. I am thankful to have learned a valuable life lesson in sticking up for myself...
I've been neglecting my knitting and crochet lately. Don't know why. I've been wanting to crochet with my fisherman's wool, but have felt guilty because I've been using it for knitting and felt that I should continue.
Nuts to that.
Today I decided to crochet. I'm going to make this cat bed. It will be my first ever felted project. I'm excited about it.
Round and round and round it goes.
This one goes pretty quickly, provided I pay close enough attention to my stitch counting. Can't wait to felt it!
My progress will have to wait for another day, however, because I'm off to watch Canada vs. USA in the men's gold medal hockey game this afternoon. And then hopefully some of the closing ceremonies. Farewell, sweet Olympics. You've been most enjoyable.

I've yet to try felted crochet. You'll have to let me know how it goes.
Kitty Cuddles... lol. I Like it!
February almost always sucks, hooray for March!
I watched my first ever hockey game yesterday & I surprisingly enjoyed it. You Canadians might be onto something.
I am going to need some tulips.
You know, considering the outcome of that game, I'd say you made a swell decision in putting aside the yarn for a few hours of unrivalled hockey bliss! I was most happy that my flight was delayed. It's the first (dare I say LAST) time I've ever been happy with three hour wait at an airport!
