Should I be offended that she's never made a Snow-Kate?
Last month my mom made two "snowdogs" - that's "Snow-Hank" in the blue scarf, "Snow-Emma" with the bright pink vet wrap around her neck. And that's real Emma, hackles up, bark-bark-barking at the snow effigies.
Tentative sniff...
My dad claims that it is a testament to my mother's snow-shaping skills that Emma felt the need to sniff Snow-Hank's snow-behind. My parents found this hilarious. What I find hilarious is that my mom made Hank look like a sleek, tall and lean greyhound-type, rather than the short, barrel-chested, "grunting ottoman with a tail" that he actually is.
Emma doesn't like real Hank, but Snow-Hank, in his jaunty blue plaid scarf and stick for fetching - he's okay. Note the tail wag.

Every now and again Rowdy will raise her hackles as she passes herself in a mirror. Ooooooh Rowdy. Those snow-dogs are awesome. You would need alot of snow (height wise) to make a snow-kate.
